【Piracy】 Amendment of IBF Risk Area as of 1 Jan. 2023//Update on 9 Nov. 2023//

IBF Risk Area amendment will be applied as of 1 Jan. 2023.

Apply date：１Jan. 2023

What will be change?

• Both High Risk Area and Extended Risk Zone in Indian Ocean/Gulf of Aden/Red Sea will be deleted
• High Risk Area in West Africa will be deleted
• The area of Extended Risk Zone in West Africa will be changed

Items which will not change

• Warlike Operations Area off coast of Yemen remain unchanged
• Warlike Operation Area in sea of Azof, Black Sea and Ukraine ports remain unchanged.

Update on 9 Nov. 2023

The Warlike Operation Area in the Black Sea and a part of the Azov Sea has been modified, and we are providing the latest IBF Risk Area. A High Risk Area has been added to the south of the Warlike Operation Area. It's important to note that the Romanian coast remains unaffected and is not designated as a High Risk Area, as it has been in the past.
