【OCIMF】SIRE2.0 Training Videos and papers

In this article, we introduced that SIRE2.0 which updated conventional SIRE was going to launch soon.

This month, OCIMF has released training videos and other materials on its website.

SIRE 2.0 has a 6-month transition period from the start of the program, but no official announcement has been made as to when this period will begin.

Training Videos

You can watch training Videos for HUMAN FACTORS and TECHNICAL, both of them include some videos. If you are a first time viewer, it may be easier to start viewing from TECHNICAL.

The video for crew members and the video for shipowners/management companies explain how the inspectors determine and answer the questions in SIRE 2.0,  and how management companies respond to them with specific examples.

SIRE 2.0 is extensively explained, including the differences between SIRE 2.0 and current SIRE, the inspection process, and the types of questions to be asked.

Papers

A Word file called 'SIRE 2.0 Guidance document table' is available for download. This file contains a list of documents and who each document is intended for (management company, inspection company, inspector, etc.), so we recommend that you first read this file and download the necessary documents.
