Questionnaire
The DryBMS Questionnaire can be downloaded from the following website: Bridge Procedure, Maintenance, HSSE, Crew Management, and many more. Ship management companies can also choose the areas they would like to be audited in particular.
Guidelines & standards – DryBMS
Period
RightShip’s Management Audit team will arrange a suitable time to carry out your audit. The audit process can take up to 2 weeks, with 2 to 4 days in the office.
Outcome of the Audit
An audit report will be given to the management companies, measuring their operations against all criteria of the chosen framework, and highlighting specific areas for improvement. A consultation service can be provided on request to assist with the shipowner to work through the areas.
On completion of a successful Management Audit, all DOC holders are rewarded with a completion badge on their RightShip vessel pages, highlighting their commitments to prospective customers.
Relationship between this audit and vetting?
We contacted RightShip and received a response that there is currently no relationship between DOC Score and Safety Score and Management Audit. The audit is only to improve the management of the management company. RightShip members can know when/which company received this audit, but the contents of the audit will not be disclosed to third parties.
