BIMCO has published the “FuelEU Maritime Clause for Time Charter Parties 2024” a clause for time charter contracts regarding the FuelEU Maritime Regulation, which will be implemented on January 1, 2025.
The announcement of this clause is expected to trigger more active discussions between shipowners and charterers on how to comply with the FuelEU Maritime Clause.
