Dear Customers,
Hello, and thank you for always using AI BANTO! In the second issue of our newsletter, we will guide you on ‘Tips for Asking Questions’ to get the most appropriate answers from BANTO-san.
Issue 2: ‘Tips for Asking Questions’ There are several tips for asking questions, but this time we will introduce two of them.
1. Ask Specific Questions
The more specific your question, the easier it is to get the answer you want. For example, suppose your vessel has received a request to load Direct Reduced Iron (DRI). What do you want to know in this case? The nature of DRI, its classification under the IMSBC CODE, clauses under the CP, precautions when loading DRI… There are many things to consider. If you simply ask ‘DRI’, AI BANTO will provide information it deems most relevant to DRI, but this tends to be a broad range of information.
However, if you ask ‘What are the precautions for transporting DRI in bulk?’, you can get a more detailed answer.
Additionally, you can ask questions using a series of keywords like ‘DRI transport precautions’
2. Try Rephrasing Words
If AI BANTO does not answer your question, rephrasing words in your question might help get a more appropriate response. Here are some examples of rephrasing words:
- Abbreviations → Full Names: e.g., PO = Purchase Option, DRI = Direct Reduced Iron, etc.
- English ⇔ Other languages: e.g., 返船 = Redelivery, BL = Bill of Lading, バンカー = bunker = 補油, etc.
- Other Word Substitutions: e.g., Scrubber = EGCS,
The AI BANTO support team is continuously working to improve AI so that it can provide appropriate answers without needing such rephrasing. In the meantime, we appreciate you to try these methods.
We will continue to provide tips on how to use AI BANTO and the latest information, so stay tuned! See you in the next issue of our newsletter.
