EEXI/CII simple assessment

For non-EEDI vessel, its EEXI regulation value can be determined by Class or 3rd party calculation.

However, as we have introduced in our e-mail newsletter No.3,  EEXI management evaluation tool has been published by ClassNK, it is possible to easily and roughly estimate the attained EEXI and the required ME output with this tool. You can download it from below link.

• The assessment result obtained from this tool is also just for reference and not related to the actual EEXI verification.
• The attained EEXI is calculated using the “default value of SFC (i.e. SFC_ME,app: 190g/kWh, SFC_AE,app: 215g/kWh)” and
  “ ship speed calculated by the simple formula (i.e. V_ref,app)” specified in EEXI Calculation Guidelines.
• The required value of EPL (Engine Power Limitation) in order to comply with EEXI requirement is estimated based on the
  calculated attained EEXI.
