Please find below.
a) SOLAS Convention 1974
- Amendments to IMDG Code(1 June 2022)
b) MARPOL Annex Ⅵ
- Strengthening of EEDI Phase 3 requirements, Reference line for very large bulk carriers (for a ship contracted for construction on or after 1 April 2022)
- Sampling of fuel oil onboard(new ship: a ship constructed on or after 1 April 2022 / other ships : by first IAPP renewal survey on or after 1 April 2023)
c) Ballast Water Management Convention
- Sampling and analysis at commissioning of BWTS (1 June 2022)

[2] Local regulations which enter into force during 2022
We would like to introduce some of local regulations which enter into force during 2022.
a) UK MRV
- Vessel operate between UK ports or between UK and non-EEA ports, is required to collect emission data, submit monitoring plan etc., same as EU-MRV.

b) South Korea ECA
- South Korea Emission Control Area requirement has been started already, but requirement for fuel oil changeover is amended. Effective date is 1 January 2022.

c) China ECA
- Hainan coastal area will be added to Chinese Emission Control Area on 1 January 2022.

d) Panama Canal
- Panama Canal Authority issues Notices to Shipping on 1 January every year, and requirement for vessel, including its facility, may change.

[3] Others
ITF and JNG concluded agreement an increase of seafarer’s wage and compensations of 3% from 1 January 2022.
